Developer Seogju Kang (hereinafter referred to as "the Developer") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how WE:IN (hereinafter referred to as "the App") collects, uses, and protects your personal information in compliance with applicable laws.

1.1 Information you provide
- Required: Email address (ID), Password (encrypted), Nickname.
- Optional (When using specific features):
- Schedule details: Title, content, date, time, location.
- Group details: Group name, member list.
- Post details: Titles, contents, comments.
- Attachments: Images, videos, documents (PDF, etc.).
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device information (OS, Model), IP address, Service usage logs, Access logs.
- Push Notification Token (FCM Token).
2. Purpose of Collection and Use
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To verify identity and manage user accounts.
- To provide core services such as schedule sharing, group boards, and file attachments.
- To send push notifications (schedule alerts, new post alerts).
- To analyze service usage, improve features, and prevent abuse.
3. Retention and Use Period
- Principle: Upon account deletion (withdrawal), user's personal information is destroyed without delay.
- However, information may be retained for a certain period if required by relevant laws or for investigation purposes.
- Posts and attachments may be retained for service consistency unless deleted by the user prior to account withdrawal.
4. Destruction Procedures and Methods
- Procedure: Personal information is destroyed immediately after the purpose of collection is achieved or upon user's request for withdrawal.
- Method: Electronic files are permanently deleted using technical methods that make the records unrecoverable.
5. Third-Party Service Providers (Entrustment)
To provide and improve our services, we use the following third-party services which may process some of your data:
- Google (Firebase): User authentication, Database hosting, Server operations, Analytics.
- Expo (EAS): Push notification delivery systems.

- You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time.
- You can withdraw your consent and delete your account immediately via the [Settings > Delete Account] menu in the App.
7. Security Measures
- Encryption: Passwords are stored using one-way encryption (hashing).
- Data Transmission: All data communication is encrypted via SSL/HTTPS.
8. App Permissions
WE:IN requires the following permissions to provide specific features:

- Photos/Media/Files (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / VIDEO / EXTERNAL_STORAGE):
- Required to attach photos, videos, or files to posts and calendars.
- Required to download attached files to your device.
- Camera (CAMERA): To take and attach photos directly within the App.
